There's a story behind every Cherokee Rose, peanut and cotton ball on the new Southern Rose bracelet that makes its debut Monday evening on QVC.
John Wind, the designer behind Maximal Art, said he was inspired by the thousands of stylish, charming women he's met over the years — gracious hosts as he traveled across Georgia and Tennessee, Texas and the Carolinas with his line of modern vintage jewelry.
Those women were his muses as he created the gold chain bracelet, with its sparkly charms of roses, peanuts and Maximal Art's signature "cotton balls."
John named it the Southern Rose in their honor, and a production sample immediately caught the eye of former Miss Tennessee Lisa Robertson (1989), who now happens to be a prime-time host at QVC.
She fell in love with it and the memories of home, and so the bracelet will make its debut tonight around 7:20pm ET on her show, "PM Style® with Lisa Robertson."
The Southern Rose bracelet will be exclusive to QVC and sell for $49. Only a limited quantity were handmade in Maximal Art's studio outside Philadelphia; the bracelet will be available only while supplies last by calling
QVC at 1-888-345-5788 or visiting QVC.com.
