As the weather begins to warm, our thoughts turn to summer, to relaxation, to travel, to La Dolce Vita -- the good life.
No one captured that mood and style better than photographer Slim Aarons.
When I first saw the vintage coral flower that became the centerpiece of this collection, my thoughts drifted to Beverly Hills, to a woman wearing a Dior ‘New Look’ dress with a tight bodice and full skirt, and the brooch pinned to a little cardigan draped over her shoulders…
OK, so now it’s everything but brooches—necklace, bracelet, earrings and even a barrette. And now it’s a look that can go with white jeans, a pool cover up, OR a flirtatious party dress. Your choice!
And in addition to coral’s classic pop of color, we created a soft, pale chalky blue version. Almost a neutral, but also with a little color, which is what we’re all craving after a long, grey winter.
I’m speechless. This is a very good blog and very engiagng too. Great paintings! That’s now not truly much coming from an novice writer like me, nevertheless it’s all I may say after diving into your posts. Great grammar and vocabulary. Not like other blogs. You truly recognise what you?re talking approximately too. So much that you just made me need to discover more. Your weblog has become a stepping stone for me, my friend.
